Working from Home
One of the things I’m getting used to these days is not working in an office. At first, to be totally honest, I wasn’t real excited about the idea. There are so many distractions at home, especially when you have little kids. That being said, one of the greatest blessings I’ve received in starting Northgate is developing a closer relationship with my four-year old daughter, Emma. I’ve always been so close to my son, Isaac, but now I’m just as close to my daughter. Here’s the application: God’s plans are always better than our plans. I didn’t want to work from home; but working from home has brought me closer to my little girl. Which is to say, whatever difficulties you’re facing today, you can trust God for a positive outcome. He’ll even surprise you.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
