A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words
Summer has begun and that means Northate’s day at the lake is right around the corner. Yeah, I get excited for the peanut butter rice krispy bars as much as the next person… But what I really love is the baptisms… And more specifically getting to be a part of someone’s incredible and beautiful moment.
We record pictures and video each year of people taking the “big dunk” in Lake George and it’s beyond heart-warming. It’s amazing. It’s a day of joy. It’s a day of stories. You get to hear how God is at work in so many dynamic ways. I could tell you some exciting stories or I could just let the pictures do the talking.
One more thought before we get to the pictures; whether it’s cloudy, hot, cold, or whatever, come be TOGETHER with your friends and “northgate family” it’s a momentous day worth sharing!
“God’s preventative for loneliness is intimacy – meaningful, open, sharing relationships with one another. In Christ we have the capacity for the fulfilling sense of belonging which comes from intimate fellowship with God and with other believers.” - Neil T. Anderson
Here are some of my personal favorite pictures that have been snapped by our volunteer photogs over the years… Amazing! Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words!
