Ponder these questions after you listen to the message:  

  1. What are some of the old clothing that you’ve gotten rid of since you’ve started a relationship with Christ? Take a moment and reflect on all the good work that has taken place.

  2. Are there any instances of the “old-self” that are still with you?  Take a moment to pray that God would take away any last remnants of the old you.


Ponder these questions after you listen to the message:  

  1. What are some things you do in your own life that you are tempted to believe you are earning the fullness of God by doing them?

  2. When do you feel most like you’re living in the truth that Jesus is all you need?

  3. As you go through this week, pray each day thanking God for the love he feels for you despite your performance and ask him where he sees you trying to earn his love which has already been given to you.  

Ponder these questions after you listen to the message:  

  1. What are some of the things you are currently adding to the equation Jesus +”Something” = Everything?

  2. What are some characteristics of a person that lives with the equation Jesus + Nothing  = Everything?

  3. List one or two practical steps you can take today to take away the things that are getting in the way of fully embracing Jesus as the only thing you need?



Ponder these questions after you listen to the message:  

  1. Where do you stand today on your journey in understanding the mystery of God?  

  2. As you think about your progress in maturing in Christ, what changes have already taken place in your life?

  3. What are some examples of deceptions that might be taking you away from Christ today?


Ponder these questions after you listen to the message:  

  1. When you think of Jesus, what are the first things that come to your mind?

  2. How might this affect the way you think Jesus feels about you?

  3. If you dreamed you saw Jesus, how do you think you might react to seeing him?

  4. What might you say to him or ask Him?

Invitation: Take a couple minutes each day this week and pray, thanking Jesus for at least two of his attributes. Hint: some of these can be found in Galatians 5:22.

Ponder these questions after you listen to the message:  

  1. Why might thanking God in the midst of difficulty change our perspective?

  2. How does it make you feel to know that Jesus can be your source of strength and endurance?

  3. An invitation to grow in the knowledge of God:
    This week take 10 minutes each day and read a story in Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John and ask God to help you hear from him, what he wants to say to you through the passage. Then spend a minute or two showing him gratitude for how he relentlessly loves you.

  1. Can you share a story where things didn’t go so well and you wanted a fresh start?

  2. What are some things that you tend to pin your hopes on today?

  3. Why do you think that the messages of today's politicians and other leaders resonates so well with us?  What do we hear that we hold onto?

  4. How do we, as Christians, reconcile following the ways of Jesus and participating in today’s culture?
